Comparing S-1000 with other motor hi-end camera mount in the market, S-1000 has more unique features that can't be found on other products.
The axis of camera up/down control, we select belt driven system. As the loading of servo is too heavy and the axis need to hold and move heavy camera, general driven system (gear drive or direct drive) usually cause vibration during moving. Belt driven system can effectively reduce the vibration.
The center axis driven system, we specially use worm gear system, this system is an anti torque of main rotor towards the damage cost

Please note all screws are set temporarily when you recieve this product. You will need to re-secure all screws with Loctite or simmilar retainer where applicable.
Using suggestion:
If you want to get high quality video, we suggest to use electrical power helicopter. This is because the vibration caused by nitro or gas engine will degrade the video performance significantly (gas > nitro> electric). Furthermore, all screws in use for the camera mount and heli should be secured firmly. And you shall minimize any play in the heli and make sure the blade set are well balanced.. This will minimize the time you spent for fine tuning based on our experience during our testing period T-REX 700 Nitro with e-conversion. You may also use 700E or other same graded helicopter. As for the blades, you may choose the special design for F3C or perhaps flaunt the high buoyancy characteristic blade.
Moreover S-1000 used three 360 degree servos. This servo is different from other servos in the market. The biggest different is it does not have neutral point, therefore when in used; each time needs to adjust a little bit the radio. This situation occurs on how you lunch your receiver and receiver quality.
Another important tip is the choice of gyro. As 360 degree servocan't work with gyro with head-lock mode, please set your gyro in non-head lock mode if your gyro's mode can be choose. We have test GWS PG-03, it work well with our product and GWS PG-03 is low cost and easy to use.
As we use gyro only in non-head-lock mode, it is no matter wherever the gyro are mounted in camera pan or camera mount (leg). There are wide spaces on camera mount for installing any accessories you need, especially there are reserved holds that can let you freely move aluminum bolt. You can easily setup your accessories.
For the pan stabilizer, we also offer an option item for user selection. FY-20A is a 3 axis gyro; the original design is for airplanes. The main feature of FY-20Ais not only uses a 3 axis gyro sensor, but also build-in 3 axis g sensors. G sensor can offer the Earth's gravity data to FY-20A. That means FY-20A can exactly know where the ground is and where the sky is. It can keep airplane or camera pan in parallel with horizon continuously. This product is the best ideal solution of 3 axis camera mount.
If you would like to try FY-20A, please install it on the bottom plat of camera pan.
Use FY-20A, if you set it on 3D mode, it will work like 3 axis gyro in head-lock mode. We recommend set it only on balance mode and mount it on the bottom of camera bottom plate. It can work perfectly with S-1000. The only using limited is do not move camera pan up or down over 90 degree (in balance mode).
